Satellite radio and satellite TV are two things that your RV should have to fall into the Hi-tech category. It doesn’t matter if you’re not going to watch TV or listen to the radio when on a road trip, but these two things are necessary if you want your RV to fit into the tech-friendly slot. Most RVs have some sort of music systems installed, but to show that you’re in with the times, a blue-ray device with surround speakers and an LCD monitor will really push your RV high in the rankings.

Security is a concern as many campsites have unsatisfactory security standards. Install high end security devices like sensor alarms and night cameras in your RV. Even if you don’t have a break-in, you can show off your stuff to your neighbors or your fellow campers. Actually, if dough is not a problem for you, you can keep on adding so many gizmos and gadgets to your RV to make it look right out off a Sci-fi movie, but the above items are more than enough to keep you in the tech-friendly bracket. I would suggest getting some RV insurance to protect the investment.
