Game review – Splinter Cell: Conviction

Tom Clancy has been an old hand at game design and development. He has had quite a few games that he has not only conceptualized but also executed to perfection. His latest offering in the series is Splinter Cell: Conviction, which is quite different from all the other games in the series of four, this is a stripped down game that is much leaner but much heavier in the action department, which rally suits a lot of avid gamers. There is a wonderful co-op mode and this means that you have game that is worth waiting for and playing with gusto once you have your hands on it. There are some things going well for the game. It is slick in movement and also very fast in combat.

The mark and execute function is quite a deal while the co-op story works very well indeed and you get a fine twist to the tale to add to it. On the cons, there is a feeling that it doesn’t feel like a typical Splinter Cell game, and for some people the mark and execute seems to be too good for comfort. The stealth line is sometimes too stealthy and hence hard to mark.
