Dark Void Soundtrack Review

Dark Void from Capcom was released last month. While there were a lot of expectations from the game, the response by users was less than enthusiastic. The official soundtrack of Dark Void is expected to be launched next Tuesday and one can only hope and pray that the response to this wonderfully put together and executed soundtrack is more encouraging. It would certainly not be fair or just to this excellent soundtrack if people ignored it just on the basis of the lukewarm reception to the game.

Even if you are not such a great Dark Void game fan, you should not miss out the soundtrack which comes along with an absolutely amazing bonus track. This soundtrack has almost 80 minutes of original and scintillating compositions that will just have you hungry for more. In fact the melodies of the soundtrack will keep your feet tapping even as the melody keeps ringing in your ears long after you have stopped listening to the inimitable track. The album consists of the over arching theme of the game making a number of appearances throughout the game. The album is created by Bear McCreary who had scored the music for Wrong Turn 2 and Battlestar Galactica. No wonder, the music is so great!

Massive Action Game Review

When it comes to action games, there is a lot of expectations that people had from the Massive Action Game (MAG) from the PS3 stables. The game does not seem to have too many frills and perhaps comes up quite short of expectations. But since it is able to wean people away from Modern Warfare 2, it seems to be delivering on a few fronts. This is surprising as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has quite a few attractive and glittering weapons as well as accessories.MAG seems to be okay but then is it enough? This all depends on what you want out of the game.

Looking 15 years into the future
The game is set in 2025, when there are contests between three paramilitary factions that wage global wars. And all of this happens under the garb of global peace. You can choose any of the three factions. The faction closest to the American forces is Valor and Raven is the European force given to its latte sipping, whereas S.E.V.R. covers the Warsaw Pact and Middle East nations. What is surprising is that the game displays weaponry that is quite similar to what is available currently even though the game is set 15 years in the future.

As action games go, MAG seems to be rather pedestrian, but then that again depends on what appeals to your individual gaming sensibiities.

Gizmos for Your RV

RV owners, just like other automobile owners want the latest gadgets and gizmos for their vehicles, today. Gone are the days when RVs used to look like run-down, mammoth bus-cum-homes or van-cum-homes. Today, RV owners take pride in them as much as they do in their new homes. Aesthetically pleasing and technologically up-to-date are how today’s RVs are, and we’ve listed out some stuff that you need to have in your RV for it be called modern and tech-friendly.

Since this is the age of the Internet, we’ll start with connectivity. On your RV vacation, you would probably leave your laptop home. Many RV campsites offer Wi-Fi connectivity free while some may charge pay as you go. So if you want to use your desktop on board your RV, then you have to install a Wi-Fi receiver on- board. GPS is a pretty useful device on your RV considering the fact that there are chances that you’ll want to know where you are when you’re travelling on lesser known roads and in areas that you’re not familiar with.

Satellite radio and satellite TV are two things that your RV should have to fall into the Hi-tech category. It doesn’t matter if you’re not going to watch TV or listen to the radio when on a road trip, but these two things are necessary if you want your RV to fit into the tech-friendly slot. Most RVs have some sort of music systems installed, but to show that you’re in with the times, a blue-ray device with surround speakers and an LCD monitor will really push your RV high in the rankings.

Security is a concern as many campsites have unsatisfactory security standards. Install high end security devices like sensor alarms and night cameras in your RV. Even if you don’t have a break-in, you can show off your stuff to your neighbors or your fellow campers. Actually, if dough is not a problem for you, you can keep on adding so many gizmos and gadgets to your RV to make it look right out off a Sci-fi movie, but the above items are more than enough to keep you in the tech-friendly bracket. I would suggest getting some RV insurance to protect the investment.

The introduction of mobile broadband has changed all that. Serious gamers can rejoice now. Gaming has gone truly mobile with mobile broadband. There’s no need to stay put at home anymore. Natal For The Xbox 360

The Natal is a new peripheral for the Xbox 360 which looks like it could revolutionise gaming. The Natal is not out yet, but when it does my money says that it will be a massive hit.

What is the Natal I hear you ask. Well the Natal is a replacement for the traditional controller. The Natal is a box with a camera on it which detects motion and even facial expressions. Basically it enables the user to control the characters in the game with their own body. If you are playing a beat em up game you can simply kick and punch with your body to make the on screen character do exactly the same.

It’s quite incredible and the implications of this is that gaming will be even more interactive and the games will be a lot less restrictive as to exactly what you can do. This is not just a new controller but a new way of gaming. Natal Games are being developed at the moment, Such games that are expected to be released for the launch of the natal are Fable Episodic, Fable 3, Uncharted 2, DJ Hero, God Of War 3, Assassin’s Creed II and Bayonetta.
