Deadliest Warrior: Review

The gamers have been provided enough opportunities to become a part of various battles in different eras. However, the style of combats is no way intense and is definitely flawed in many an occasion. Still, it satisfies one’s bloodlust if that is what comes to your mind when opting for this kind of a game.

There are strong pros and cons about this game. The positive points must be categorized in the casual fighters who are fun with an unpretentious attitude. Extra DLC is going supplement the entire cast which is rather modest in a way. The game is a bit educational as well. The negative side of the game is also quite prominent as the complete look of the game does not possess much polish and somewhat feels like a cheap game which is available for free download.

There are eight major characters in the game. All of them are carrying weapons of the highest order. These arms include pistols to axes to spears to create a warlike situation at every moment of it. There are also options to go for three dimensional combats by just a press of a button. However, nothing really comes as a means to satisfy the gamers’ thirst.

The ironic part of the game is that it overlooks the time-honored fight pattern of the game even though the game takes pride in doing extensive research before setting it up. There are so many details which are completely missing in the process that it feels empty.

Deadliest Warrior definitely fails to impress.

Dragon Quest IX – The Review

Dragon Quest IX sees a horde of breathtaking changes which make it an irresistible option to try out. This game belongs to a genre that is conceived in nostalgia and executed in amber grains. It is an awesome experience as it never loses its charm on the way to the steady progress it makes on a gradual level.

This game has got an epic style narration which instantly brings the gamer in to the exotic mood for something truly extra ordinary. It plays well between the ancient and the modern. The fresh ideas combine greatly with the convention. The exit is near perfect and the entire game provides its fans with a nostalgic journey for the unattainable.

Dragon Quest games are, in a way, similar to the games like Final Fantasy and Zelda. Every sequel is a kind of retrospect of the past and common themes rule the plot. The game has an icon in the form of the character of Akira Toriyama. He is an unmatched combination of Anglo-Saxon DNA and the untouchable combat force.

There are pros and cons in every game while the best has more positive points less aspects worth improving. The weakness of Dragon Quest IX is that it does not provide the multiplayer facility for online usage while the positive aspects are many.

It has got a high class story with impeccable writing. There are no random battles anymore and it also provides the multiplayer option which is fun and quite flexible.

Singularity – The Game

This is the shooting game that takes you to a timeless island which moves you with its mysterious backdrops and carries on with the first person gaming style. Sometimes it does seem to be a mindless shooting game taking all its ingredients from similar superior games to construct its basic mechanism.

The game starts with a US helicopter landing in a mysterious island named Katorga-12 while patrolling the reason behind the strong surge that was responsible for destroying a military satellite. The island has seemingly lost life and any of its connections since the year of 1955. This introduction to the game is no doubt outstanding even though there can be a comparison drawn with Bioshock. The protagonist of the game spends the preliminary part of the game in struggling to survive against all the odds in the island, gradually upgrading himself with all the modern scientific updates which, however, were originally the cause of the entire destruction.

The significant part of this game is spent in a somber atmosphere which leads to an intense and fascinating journey to feel that something extra-ordinary is about to happen. On the contrary, the game moves to a more banal position as it slowly moves to the end of it. However, for a gamer who does not want to complete a game to know what comes next, Singularity might offer something worth mentioning. It is more about the ones who wish see it through to get disappointed.

Microsoft Kinect

The E3 event saw the official release of motion control system from Microsoft called Kinect for Xbox 360. The motion gaming controller was previously named as project Natal and has some unique features that are not found in Sony Move or the Nintendo Wii.

Microsoft Kinect is designed as a separate stand and sits between the television and you. The gamer does not require to be holding any controller in his or her hand. It can sense 3D depth sensors by the use of dual RGB cameras and has speech recognition through the multi array microphone. It has a motorized tilt base that can follow a user while video chatting and provide constant video chatting functionalities. This controller can also allow the user to control television channels and other such remote controlling of on demand ESPN content. Many games have been announced that will support this motion controller many of which are developed in house and some which are developed by third party developers. Microsoft is targeting the hardcore gaming market with this controller instead of targeting the casual gamers in the complete family.

Microsoft Kinect will be directly pitted against Sony’s Move motion controllers and only the console fans will judge each controllers success.

CUFFLINKS cum USB drives

So what are high end geeks with loads and loads of cash spending their money on besides memorabilia of star wars and for buying stuff on ebay that makes no sense at all. They have something more tospend their comfort earned money on. These are for accompanying them on their official night outs between social people. These are novelty cufflinks that can double up as 4 GB USB flash drives. These can be of pretty use when going out on dinner parties and you suddenly require your USB drives for some particular reason.
These are available in gold, silver and gunmetal finishes and can be engraved with whatever the geek heart desires. They come at a cost of 195 dollars a pair and are worth to you if you keep top secret documents on you at all times and need to protect then with your dear life.

Gadget Review: Flip Side HD

After taking over 40% of the shoot & share video cam market, the makers of Flip Side HD have the freedom to experiment with new design factors. This camera is designed keeping in mind the playback factor more than the shooting aspect with the tilt screen.
At the core the Flip Side HD is just a repackaged Flip Mino HD with the same resolution of recording and uploading. The screen is a 3 inch resistive touch screen that is designed more for viewing purposes. There are no record and stop buttons here as in the Flip Mino HD and the user interface has not been refined for touch screen use, hence it leads to difficulty in recording. The screen is bright enough and has controls on screen for the different aspects of controlling.
Another biggest problem with this camera is the $300 price which can get you a fully fledged camera that has better lenses, better sensors, better video and many more features that are missing here. Even in comparison to the $150 price tag on the younger Flip Mino HD, this thing is not worth the money spent. Hence go for other better options if you just want to shoot and share, but if you are really the kind who likes to rerun your recent recording, then just go for this camera.

Facebook games

Since Facebook launched in 2004, it has become a national phenomenon. Currently, the Website has 400 million members around the world. From resetting statuses every 10 minutes to keeping up with friends, Facebook has provided countless hours of fun and procrastination.

If you’re a Facebook member, you know exactly what I mean. You’ll get a dozen invitations from your friends to join FarmVille, Café World or Mafia Wars. Before you decide to play these games, you might want to know which are the most popular and why.

Here are my top three favorite Facebook games:

1. Texas HoldEm Poker- For fans of online casinos, this game is a must. It’s classic Texas HoldEm that you can play online with your Facebook friends. With more than 27 million players, you’re sure to know at least one friend who also plays. Each time you sign in, you get free coins. Also, if you want continue your game in real life, Caesars online has some great information to improve your game.

2. Café World- Café World is the upgrade of Facebook’s old game Restaurant City. In Café World, you own your own café and create, well… food. With more than 30 million users, Café World users cook, slice, chop, sauté and bake to “level up.”

3. Sorority Life- Sorority Life has four out of five stars and more than five million users. It’s obviously a girly game, but it’s a lot of fun. While it’s not poker or making bacon cheeseburgers, Sorority Life is a more light game where you can take a beach vacation in a bikini or buying a baby blue Porsche. Hey, it’s nice to dream, right?

If these three games don’t sound appealing to you, don’t worry! There are thousands of other games that you might like.

Do people still use Myspace as an online gaming source?

myspaceban

Myspace. What is the first thing that comes to mind when you hear of Myspace? Social media? Irritating applications? People bragging about how many friends they have on their page? All of these things are true, but there’s probably two things that don’t come to mind when you think about Myspace- how it’s obsolete and that it has games. Ever since Myspace started about a decade ago, people have been flocking to this service to keep in touch with friends, make new ones, stalk celebrities and as of a few years ago, listen to music. Should Myspace still be considered a main source for games? How often do people truly go on this website for that purpose?

There are many other gaming websites available, as well as WSOP, that I’ve found to be interesting, such as Pogo and OMGPOP, where you can play word games, as well as other sources to play games online with online bingo, jeopardy and wheel of fortune. I think those type of websites will stick around longer and hold more value than Myspace ones, seeing as Myspace is slowly being phased out by Facebook and Twitter. The fun thing about perusing the web for online game websites is that many of them offer fun little jackpots and lottery type prizes, as well as the ability to play with your friends or even random players- you’ll never be bored again. I got rid of Myspace a long time ago, so I don’t plan on using it just to play games. My friends would just make fun of me anyway while they hop on Facebook to play Farmville!

Viagra Helps You Play Video Games Better

1-[4-ethoxy-3-(6,7-dihydro-1-methyl-7-oxo-3-propyl-1H-pyrazolo[4,3-d]pyrimidin-5-yl)phenylsulfonyl]-4-methylpiperazine citrate is the IUPUC name for the chemical which goes by the formula C22H30N6O4S and is used to treat erectile dysfunction. That means, when you are not able to get your pecker stand up and take notice of da girlz, because you have been facing 20 hours of Wrath of the Lich King in the World of Warcraft, you consume this chemical and make things right, straight and erect. Dude, I’m talking about Viagra.
Sex is more imp to me than a buncha effing video games (oh, no, did I just say dat! Am I a traitor to the Tao?????). But come on, let’s face it, that’s more or less the truth, right? So I read this study in a Medical journal I found on Elsevier, and it said that prolonged hunchbacked sitting (the gaming posture, if you didn’t know that already!) caused the perineum area to innervate and stop the flow of blood to the genitals. Basically, you can’t get it up if you play too much video games, is what the doc says. Or code for hours. Or hack or launch a DNS attack or whatever the hell you do for fun.
So that’s what was happening to me, and the girlfriend wasn’t too pleased. She doesn’t like Lisa (my Mac) anyway (effing pushover woman), and this ED thing just pushed her to the brink, like, really to the brink. I started getting free advice from friends, family and co-workers, and started using, in that order, an Airdesk, a foamy donut shaped sitting contraption (to keep things suspended in air), a herbal medicine (bitter to the core, and useless) and Tylenol (when the gf got rough and mad). Nothing was helping, until I found Viagra at a sleazy sex toy shop I sometimes (very rarely, mind) like to visit just to check out the scenery.
This Viagra thing, dude, was awesome. I came home with the stuff, took coupla pills that night, and exploded into a semi-priapistic stage that lasted for 5 hours and left both my girlfriend and me half-dead. The priapism was painful – imagine a rock solid hard-on that never seems to subside – but it was by far the best kind of pain I ever had.
Viagra comes highly recommended. The basic substance is known as Sildenafil, which was patented by Pfizer in 1998 and has become one of their most popular products, ever. Take it 30 minutes to 4 hours before sex for best effect. Lots of cheap fakes around, and some may even be harmful; so it’s better you buy your solid erections from a good online shop. And don’t play video games so much (just kidding).

Dante’s Inferno: Superb Improvement over God of War

It is said that imitation is the best form of flattery. Well, some people may beg to differ especially if they are of the opinion that everything should come under the purview of copyrights as well as royalties. When it comes to the game Dante’s War, it is clear to see that the inspiration comes from the game God Of War which preceded it. In any case, the creators of Dante’s Inferno have been very well able to pick and choose the select and exciting bits from God of War to create a brand new and exciting game which goes by the name of Dante’s Inferno. One look at the game and you will be clear as to where the inspiration of this game actually comes from.

But the interesting aspect is that Dante’s Inferno is not just inspired by God of War. It goes ahead of it as the creators have really sent the game into a journey of Hell, even as the basis of the game is Dante’s The Divine Comedy. The protagonist has to go through the nine circles of hell, nothing less, to rescue his lady love, the princess from a foe as formidable as the Devil himself.
