Facebook games

Since Facebook launched in 2004, it has become a national phenomenon. Currently, the Website has 400 million members around the world. From resetting statuses every 10 minutes to keeping up with friends, Facebook has provided countless hours of fun and procrastination.

If you’re a Facebook member, you know exactly what I mean. You’ll get a dozen invitations from your friends to join FarmVille, Café World or Mafia Wars. Before you decide to play these games, you might want to know which are the most popular and why.

Here are my top three favorite Facebook games:

1. Texas HoldEm Poker- For fans of online casino, this game is a must. It’s classic Texas HoldEm that you can play online with your Facebook friends. With more than 27 million players, you’re sure to know at least one friend who also plays. Each time you sign in, you get free coins.

2. Café World- Café World is the upgrade of Facebook’s old game Restaurant City. In Café World, you own your own café and create, well… food. With more than 30 million users, Café World users cook, slice, chop, sauté and bake to “level up.”

3. Sorority Life- Sorority Life has four out of five stars and more than five million users. It’s obviously a girly game, but it’s a lot of fun. While it’s not poker or making bacon cheeseburgers, Sorority Life is a more light game where you can take a beach vacation in a bikini or buying a baby blue Porsche. Hey, it’s nice to dream, right?

If these three games don’t sound appealing to you, don’t worry! There are thousands of other games that you might like.

Do people still use Myspace as an online gaming source?

myspaceban

Myspace. What is the first thing that comes to mind when you hear of Myspace? Social media? Irritating applications? People bragging about how many friends they have on their page? All of these things are true, but there’s probably two things that don’t come to mind when you think about Myspace- how it’s obsolete and that it has games. Ever since Myspace started about a decade ago, people have been flocking to this service to keep in touch with friends, make new ones, stalk celebrities and as of a few years ago, listen to music. Should Myspace still be considered a main source for games? How often do people truly go on this website for that purpose?

There are many other gaming websites available that I’ve found to be interesting, such as Pogo and OMGPOP, where you can play word games, as well as other sources to play games online with online bingo, jeopardy and wheel of fortune. I think those type of websites will stick around longer and hold more value than Myspace ones, seeing as Myspace is slowly being phased out by Facebook and Twitter. The fun thing about perusing the web for online game websites is that many of them offer fun little jackpots and lottery type prizes, as well as the ability to play with your friends or even random players- you’ll never be bored again. I got rid of Myspace a long time ago, so I don’t plan on using it just to play games. My friends would just make fun of me anyway while they hop on Facebook to play Farmville!

Viagra Helps You Play Video Games Better

1-[4-ethoxy-3-(6,7-dihydro-1-methyl-7-oxo-3-propyl-1H-pyrazolo[4,3-d]pyrimidin-5-yl)phenylsulfonyl]-4-methylpiperazine citrate is the IUPUC name for the chemical which goes by the formula C22H30N6O4S and is used to treat erectile dysfunction. That means, when you are not able to get your pecker stand up and take notice of da girlz, because you have been facing 20 hours of Wrath of the Lich King in the World of Warcraft, you consume this chemical and make things right, straight and erect. Dude, I’m talking about Viagra.
Sex is more imp to me than a buncha effing video games (oh, no, did I just say dat! Am I a traitor to the Tao?????). But come on, let’s face it, that’s more or less the truth, right? So I read this study in a Medical journal I found on Elsevier, and it said that prolonged hunchbacked sitting (the gaming posture, if you didn’t know that already!) caused the perineum area to innervate and stop the flow of blood to the genitals. Basically, you can’t get it up if you play too much video games, is what the doc says. Or code for hours. Or hack or launch a DNS attack or whatever the hell you do for fun.
So that’s what was happening to me, and the girlfriend wasn’t too pleased. She doesn’t like Lisa (my Mac) anyway (effing pushover woman), and this ED thing just pushed her to the brink, like, really to the brink. I started getting free advice from friends, family and co-workers, and started using, in that order, an Airdesk, a foamy donut shaped sitting contraption (to keep things suspended in air), a herbal medicine (bitter to the core, and useless) and Tylenol (when the gf got rough and mad). Nothing was helping, until I found Viagra at a sleazy sex toy shop I sometimes (very rarely, mind) like to visit just to check out the scenery.
This Viagra thing, dude, was awesome. I came home with the stuff, took coupla pills that night, and exploded into a semi-priapistic stage that lasted for 5 hours and left both my girlfriend and me half-dead. The priapism was painful – imagine a rock solid hard-on that never seems to subside – but it was by far the best kind of pain I ever had.
Viagra comes highly recommended. The basic substance is known as Sildenafil, which was patented by Pfizer in 1998 and has become one of their most popular products, ever. Take it 30 minutes to 4 hours before sex for best effect. Lots of cheap fakes around, and some may even be harmful; so it’s better you buy your solid erections from a good online shop. And don’t play video games so much (just kidding).

Dante’s Inferno: Superb Improvement over God of War

It is said that imitation is the best form of flattery. Well, some people may beg to differ especially if they are of the opinion that everything should come under the purview of copyrights as well as royalties. When it comes to the game Dante’s War, it is clear to see that the inspiration comes from the game God Of War which preceded it. In any case, the creators of Dante’s Inferno have been very well able to pick and choose the select and exciting bits from God of War to create a brand new and exciting game which goes by the name of Dante’s Inferno. One look at the game and you will be clear as to where the inspiration of this game actually comes from.

But the interesting aspect is that Dante’s Inferno is not just inspired by God of War. It goes ahead of it as the creators have really sent the game into a journey of Hell, even as the basis of the game is Dante’s The Divine Comedy. The protagonist has to go through the nine circles of hell, nothing less, to rescue his lady love, the princess from a foe as formidable as the Devil himself.

Dark Void Soundtrack Review

Dark Void from Capcom was released last month. While there were a lot of expectations from the game, the response by users was less than enthusiastic. The official soundtrack of Dark Void is expected to be launched next Tuesday and one can only hope and pray that the response to this wonderfully put together and executed soundtrack is more encouraging. It would certainly not be fair or just to this excellent soundtrack if people ignored it just on the basis of the lukewarm reception to the game.

Even if you are not such a great Dark Void game fan, you should not miss out the soundtrack which comes along with an absolutely amazing bonus track. This soundtrack has almost 80 minutes of original and scintillating compositions that will just have you hungry for more. In fact the melodies of the soundtrack will keep your feet tapping even as the melody keeps ringing in your ears long after you have stopped listening to the inimitable track. The album consists of the over arching theme of the game making a number of appearances throughout the game. The album is created by Bear McCreary who had scored the music for Wrong Turn 2 and Battlestar Galactica. No wonder, the music is so great!

Massive Action Game Review

When it comes to action games, there is a lot of expectations that people had from the Massive Action Game (MAG) from the PS3 stables. The game does not seem to have too many frills and perhaps comes up quite short of expectations. But since it is able to wean people away from Modern Warfare 2, it seems to be delivering on a few fronts. This is surprising as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has quite a few attractive and glittering weapons as well as accessories.MAG seems to be okay but then is it enough? This all depends on what you want out of the game.

Looking 15 years into the future
The game is set in 2025, when there are contests between three paramilitary factions that wage global wars. And all of this happens under the garb of global peace. You can choose any of the three factions. The faction closest to the American forces is Valor and Raven is the European force given to its latte sipping, whereas S.E.V.R. covers the Warsaw Pact and Middle East nations. What is surprising is that the game displays weaponry that is quite similar to what is available currently even though the game is set 15 years in the future.

As action games go, MAG seems to be rather pedestrian, but then that again depends on what appeals to your individual gaming sensibiities.

Gizmos for Your RV

RV owners, just like other automobile owners want the latest gadgets and gizmos for their vehicles, today. Gone are the days when RVs used to look like run-down, mammoth bus-cum-homes or van-cum-homes. Today, RV owners take pride in them as much as they do in their new homes. Aesthetically pleasing and technologically up-to-date are how today’s RVs are, and we’ve listed out some stuff that you need to have in your RV for it be called modern and tech-friendly.

Since this is the age of the Internet, we’ll start with connectivity. On your RV vacation, you would probably leave your laptop home. Many RV campsites offer Wi-Fi connectivity free while some may charge pay as you go. So if you want to use your desktop on board your RV, then you have to install a Wi-Fi receiver on- board. GPS is a pretty useful device on your RV considering the fact that there are chances that you’ll want to know where you are when you’re travelling on lesser known roads and in areas that you’re not familiar with.

Satellite radio and satellite TV are two things that your RV should have to fall into the Hi-tech category. It doesn’t matter if you’re not going to watch TV or listen to the radio when on a road trip, but these two things are necessary if you want your RV to fit into the tech-friendly slot. Most RVs have some sort of music systems installed, but to show that you’re in with the times, a blue-ray device with surround speakers and an LCD monitor will really push your RV high in the rankings.

Security is a concern as many campsites have unsatisfactory security standards. Install high end security devices like sensor alarms and night cameras in your RV. Even if you don’t have a break-in, you can show off your stuff to your neighbors or your fellow campers. Actually, if dough is not a problem for you, you can keep on adding so many gizmos and gadgets to your RV to make it look right out off a Sci-fi movie, but the above items are more than enough to keep you in the tech-friendly bracket. I would suggest getting some RV insurance to protect the investment.

Are you addicted to online gaming?

The online gaming industry is worth billions of dollars. Ever since the Internet revolution started, people have been turning to the World Wide Web for information as well as entertainment. Movies and music downloads, social networking, text chats, audio and video chats and many more activities on the Internet are popular pastimes of the people, now. Internet gaming or online gaming as it is called has caught the fancies of lots of people in the recent past. People get the same thrill playing online games as they would get playing in person or on gaming consoles like Xbox, Nintendo, and Sony Playstation, to name a few. However, the gaming industry couldn’t satisfy the desires of the die-hard gamers who wanted to play online games even while on the move.

The introduction of mobile broadband has changed all that. Serious gamers can rejoice now. Gaming has gone truly mobile with mobile broadband. There’s no need to stay put at home anymore. Just play your games on the move, anywhere, anytime. Speeds upwards of 3mbps and in some cases, even, 7mbps extend the same gaming experience of a stationary desktop or laptop with a fixed broadband connection through telephone lines or fiber optic cables.

Online gaming fanatics don’t have to worry about losing their hard earned scores just because they aren’t at home when the games begin. The gamers needn’t worry about falling behind their competition because they missed too many games. Gaming addicts can stay connected through the laptops, wherever they are with the mobile broadband device. All they are required to do is just plug in the mobile broadband device into the USB slot in their laptops and get connected to the Internet. If you are not at home, it doesn’t mean that you can’t play World of War Craft with your buddies, or any online game, for that matter. Your moving around will not affect your ability to play online games at all, but you still have to remember to log into your game site to play. Once you log in, your mobile broadband will leave you with an exciting gaming experience.

Natal For The Xbox 360

The Natal is a new peripheral for the Xbox 360 which looks like it could revolutionise gaming. The Natal is not out yet, but when it does my money says that it will be a massive hit.

What is the Natal I hear you ask. Well the Natal is a replacement for the traditional controller. The Natal is a box with a camera on it which detects motion and even facial expressions. Basically it enables the user to control the characters in the game with their own body. If you are playing a beat em up game you can simply kick and punch with your body to make the on screen character do exactly the same.

It’s quite incredible and the implications of this is that gaming will be even more interactive and the games will be a lot less restrictive as to exactly what you can do. This is not just a new controller but a new way of gaming. Natal Games are being developed at the moment, Such games that are expected to be released for the launch of the natal are Fable Episodic, Fable 3, Uncharted 2, DJ Hero, God Of War 3, Assassin’s Creed II and Bayonetta.
