Game Review: Tiberian Twilight

Command and Control had some amazing features that gamers would look out for. Kane, the legendary figure in the Brotherhood of Nod, was supposed to be a kind of anti-messiah. There were problems with his character and you would know that he has some nefarious designs on humans. This seems to be changing though, because in Tiberian Twilight he has some better intentions as he tries to end the threatening spread of the noxious Tiberium, which is quite the nemesis of the human race. There is a lot of fun and also quite some interesting elements in this game that have caught the fancy of so many gamers around the globe.

The unique and also exciting aspect about Tiberian Twilight is that it brings on all the elements of multi-player gaming along with new levels, as well as ability to unlock new grades and structures as you progress ahead with the game. This is quite suitable for those who like progressive playing and who would like to go from strength to strength in the game.

Tiberian Twilight has all the elements for quite absorbing game play, which is why so many gamers are quite in awe of it and prefer it immensely.

Game Review – Hunted : Demon’s Forge

Brian Fargo has been a legend in the gaming world he has held sway for long, with the company Interplay which he founded. Brian Fargo had said that he would like to update and also upgrade the games from yester years, which would help gamers to enjoy these games with gusto and lots of interest all over again. This is one of the reasons why a lot of gamers wanted to check out Demon’s Forge, to see if it would be an improvement on the fare that was there earlier. While this is not so easy, you can imagine that with Brain people were quite hopeful, because of his stellar track record. So when the curtain was lifted on Demon’s Forge,  there were hopes that this would be quite path breaking and also very inimitable.

But then when you see Demon’s Forge, you know that the pedigree does not help as the game is not even an RPG. It is more of a version of Gears of War that takes in so many elements of fantasy. There is a great deal of action and there are enemy hordes that the main players have to take on and defeat.  There are some subplots and storylines that are weird and strange to say the least.

Game Review: Global Agenda

There are some aspects of the Global Agenda game that appeal to serious players of the game. This is quite expected from a game that has enthralled players for many years now and shows no signs of abating. There are some things about this multiplayer game that has delight written all over its amazing DNA. There are some things that go very well with this game. For one, the game has four diverse classes, and this is what brings about a great deal of interest in the game. You also have a combat that is not just shooting, which means that you can enjoy the game more fully.

When it comes to the cons of the game, you see that the environment content is not so great and the play is quite affected by this, the crafting also leaves a lot to be desired and when you are trying to design a great game, this is just not justified. There are many reviewers who say that Global Agenda is a game that is a jack of all trades and master of none. This is why you do not really enjoy the game and look forward to something that is more absorbing.

Game review: Supreme Commander II

There are some games that evoke a lot of pleasant memories and cherished moments of joy and thrill that they gave avid players and gamers. One such superlative game the memory of which lingers in mind is the Supreme Commander, which is indeed a game that has a lot of thrills and challenges to its name.  This is a game that has seen giant armies of robots as they try to take on the protagonists. Now that you have Supreme Commander II, there are many who are looking for to relive the magic that the original game had entailed.

The Supreme Commander II games is quite a refined game, which has a number of robots in any army, which is able to bring about great looks and also sound good. There are huge battlefields that will allow you a lot of flexibility and game play action. But you will also see that the graphics are all too similar to the original Supreme Commander, which is not very good for the kind of game newness that you may have wanted and expected. The over simplification of the game is also not very good and leave a lot to be desired and could have been done with, if the creators had paid a little more attention to creativity.

Game Review: Mega Man

Now you have Mega Man that is on his way back. This is a game that some old-timers do remember fondly, as having been able to give them some challenging moments of joy and thrill. The game comes back to its 8-but roots, and its design is similar. But Mega Man in its brand new avatar is not quite as inspiring and great as its distinguished predecessor. Capcom had delivered its best yet performance with the original version of Mega Man and the new version does not really come up to the expectations that had been set earlier.

To be fair to the new version of Mega Man, there are some redeeming features of the new version. For one, the game is a good challenge for many of its age-old fans. It also has a number of levels, that are well designed and able to offer many challenges that captivate players. The easy mode is also better for those who do not like old-world challenges. But the new Mega Man version does not have very good weapons which is a huge complaint.  There are some aspects of Mega Man in its new version that do not have as good robot master designs as before. The game, frankly, leaves a lot to desire.

Game Review: Toy Soldiers

There are some great things that come in small but nice packages. This is quite true of the game Toy Soldiers, where the soldiers may be quite small but then they are bundles of joy and fin once you get down to the business of playing the games. These games are set back in World War 1 , where soldiers had to jump into and fight from trenches, and also take on the enemy from all sides. Some of the main features of the game are that the soldiers can jump into the units and trenches and fire into the enemy ranks. Similarly, it is also possible to control biplanes and tanks, at will, which increases the interest in the game. There is also a great incentive to replay the game over and over again.

But there are some aspects of the game that you need to contend with, which are not all that great. In Toy Soldiers, you cannot co-op play and the battlefields are also not too big. In addition, it is also true that the game seems to be a bit confusing as it does not say in the promotional videos that the game is a tower defense game. You just cannot guess this at all from these videos.

Game review: Endless Ocean

There are some themes of games are extremely interesting and absorbing. These games have such a promise of excitement as well as attraction that you would expect a lot of the game. One of these games is Endless Ocean, which has the promise of being so absorbing and extremely riveting to engage the most ardent of game players. While the promise is there, the reality does not really live up to the promise. The main setting of the game of Endless Ocean is such that it makes you a diver, who is able to go down into the very depths of the ocean and look for treasure which is what makes it quite interesting.

There are some things about Endless Ocean that take away from the overall experience and its thrills, which include bad writing and sloppy production, just to name a few of its ills. It is almost the gaming experience equivalent of what are known as the bends in diving parlance, where you fail to decompress when coming back to the ocean surface, causing lots of pain and discomfort galore. But even then, as a diver, it is quite an experience to look at getting into the deep blue ocean and come up so close with all the many adventures that lie beneath.

There are many people who are in love with the games of old, when games were simple and yet so powerful. But you must realize that the old has to give way for the new. Game Review: Total War

Total War is a game that has had many fans over the years, and with good reason. The game had taken its players on a spin, with the war on so many colonies. There was an old-world charm to the whole affair, with the possibility of forming quite a few coalitions, based on whatever combinations that suit your fancy. The avowed aim was to unify the New World, and you also learn a little about history along the way. You get an opportunity to fight the war like Napoleon, and get more success than him at Waterloo. So in a way, you can not only relive history, but also tweak it around based on your fancy.

With Total War, it is possible to have a look at the life of Napoleon the Great. Here you have a look at how the little man emerged from his home in the island, as also then onto the French stage and indeed onto the continent. You will also get a chance to get to the desert, where you see that the army did not do well in the Egyptian desert. There is also a chance that you can get back to Europe for a change in destiny. In any case, it is possible to take sides with Russia, Prussia, Austria or Great Britain which had chosen to oppose the Napoleonic army. The choice is entirely yours.
