To the delight of those players still reluctant to purchase downloadable content via the network reaches the shelves in the Blu-Ray version of Siren: Blood Curse. This is the remake of the famous title for Sony PlayStation 2, which in its time and garnered quite a success. The title is part of the survival horror genre, offering an adventure set in a remote village in Japan and full of typical elements of Japanese folklore. The story is enriched with respect to the title of the previous generation with new story arcs. It tells the life of a group of people trapped in a small village where a strange ritual is being carried out. Some of these people belong to a group of American television moved to the place. Throughout the different chapters in which the game is structured, they will encounter other characters from the area in which the events occur. These chapters will be telling the story from different viewpoints of each of the protagonists. This will enable us to live the same situation with different characters each time discovering new details of the plot.
The general structure of the adventure is pretty linear, much narrower than most survival horror to which we are accustomed. In each episode, the game we will have to assign different goals to be fulfilled to advance the main story. Sometimes we find secondary targets that we were not submitted at the beginning of the chapter. To perform those tasks will help us a handy map that will contain a large amount of detail to make things easier. And speaking of facilities, this will be one of the greatest evils with which we find in Siren: Blood Curse. Achieving certain objectives will be so simple that we often fill the episodes in a fairly short period of time, leading to a very decompensated duration each. This will enable us to overcome the game in a number of hours less than usual for a title in the genre. Its nature is only downloadable in principle could have justified such period, but the size of the discharge exceeded 9Gb, thus disrupting this justification.
Focusing on the management, we find different ways forward depending on the character that controls each time. Find some slowdowns at times annoying point of the game, something that should not happen given the poor level of texturising mentioned earlier.
The audio section does not give us those tunes that remain etched in our memories for as can happen with Silent Hill, but the quality is sufficient to correct both the mood of the moments of exploration as the higher voltage. Far more impressive sound effects, which help create an atmosphere in which we truly feel overwhelmed in many cases. Particularly highlights the voices of the characters, especially the Shibito whose ominous words terrified us all the time. Hear voices in both English and Japanese depending on the origin of the character in question thanks to a detail from the developers because the dubbing of Castilian in the supply of PlayStation 2 somewhat spoiled the game experience.
The limited supply of titles for PlayStation 3 terror makes Siren: Blood Curse recommend a game, despite its rather limited duration and a graphically than could have been much worked. There he learns that Sirius Black, an evil mad inmate has escaped from Azkaban (the prison for wizards) to flout the very Dementores. The game begins in the Hogwarts Express (skipping all the action Aunt Marge). From the very first time you can see the details introduced by Alfonso Cuarón in the film. Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, Draco Malfoy … all have grown and note much.
Alfonso Cuarón also implemented changes to the costumes in the game have also been collected. The design of the robes of Hogwarts is something different (goodbye to the famous red jersey that carries Harry in other games) but is seen more students in some secondary and prefects.

Friendship is important, very important, and in books / movies of Harry Potter companionship and mutual support is the key to unraveling the mysteries of Hogwarts and escape unscathed (or at least a few scratches, xD) the challenges and dangers that lurk within the walls of the castle.
Deliveries in the previous game, the friends of Harry (Hermione and Ron) are little more than second or cheap extras you demanded favors and much as you gave a few tips, without much weight. In “The Prisoner of Azkaban” thing has changed. Now you can handle any character from the three (except when there is an exclusively designed for a mini or a party in which only one of the characters can perform satisfactorily.)
Very interesting minigames created to fill in a cooperative manner. Each character has a defined powers and spells, and different physical characteristics (Hermione is very intelligent, Ron has a great ability to find secret passageways, and Harry has good physical qualities to get a high platform and jump higher than any of the other characters.
The conversion film is fairly successful game, the atmosphere is very good, but lack even the original soundtrack of the movie maestro John Williams, in the opinion of this writer their best in this saga.
Now we are going to break off little by little the various sections of the game.
Graphs of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban are good in general. Emphasizes the strong design of the characters, most recognizable and completely identical to those involved in the film. However, there is a character (which we assume for lack of license) do not resemble the actors in the film. This is the case of Severus Snape (the dark-potions professor Alan Rickman) and Minerva Mc Gonagall (teacher-transformation Maggie Smith), who despite having a look like, there is clearly not the same. As for the overall design of the rest of the characters, we have a care similar to the principal, except the designs of some enemies who are not as convincing. The animations are also convincing, and facial movements.
We also find some very good lighting effects, gorgeous in colors and shades of the spells with their bursts of light.
One of the strengths of the graphs of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban are the scenarios, beautiful, varied and totally equal to the film. It is a wonder to relive the moments of the film passes through the passages that were already there. From the giant clock, to the famous wooden bridge, the new placement Hoynedukes cottage Hagrid, and everything is there … in detail. Exteriors are fantastic, very pretty (sure the camera tours a few times to see everything from different points of view).
Is there any better way to admire some of the outdoor air? Well, no, and 2el In Prisoner of Azkaban “will be able to see everything through the sky, and all thanks to Buckbeak, the hipógrifo with that flow through the air. The phases of flight are fairly well designed, although there are times that occur something sudden movements (especially when it reaches the limit of an area to which we can not reach.
Another of the highlights of the graphics engine in this game are the climatic effects, all very well adjusted. Of these climatic effects, the best snow is created with great detail and precision.
The CG of the game are correct, in most of the game engine itself. Of course, not the least surprised. After seeing the work of the Square with Final Fantasy X, it is very difficult to surprise … just put into the story, no more no less.
As a point against in the graphics engine in this game could point the framerate problems that gives this version (Play Station 2), with the obvious and annoying slowdowns that this implies (though in this game slowdowns are not always clear is). Neither of us liked much load times, too many in our opinion and with some long periods. We think it could have been reduced to little more time, but yes, we all know that these games developers are struggling against time to finish your product before the launch of the film. With a little more time, we are sure that these problems were solved.
This section is also remarkably good, with a great job at hearing.
The first thing that strikes is that it has added the ability to play the game in several different languages (English, French, Castilian, German, etc. ..). There is not to say that the game has been dubbed into our language in good order (fair enough, because occasionally we find cases of high-level commercial games that come with no translation or anything). Castilian dubbing has been charged with the same bending Hispanic film (with the exception of Juan Fernandez, bending Severus Snape).
The atmosphere and sound Fx are achieved. Can interact with all students at Hogwarts, but in the end the voices are repetitive, because in many cases using the same voice and the same phrases. Surely at some point you put your hands in your ears when listening to Ron repeating things like “potions now playing” or “I go to sleep, sometimes it is really bland. Anyway, the sounds we hear in the game we embark on the particular world of sorcery, wizard hats and wands created by JK Rowling and adapted by Steve Kloves, and Alfonso Cuarón in the film.
In the musical, we find items with magical hues, orchestral and choral music. The soundtrack of the game is unrelated to the original soundtrack of the film composed by thousand of award-winning film composer John Williams (Star Wars, Indiana Jones). From the wording, we believe it is a pity that their music does not fill our consoles too, because his latest work for the Potter films has been without doubt the best of the three, with darker themes and even with the help of a children’s choir singing a very strange called “Double Trouble”.
Despite not having the original soundtrack of the movie (the rights have not been achieved), the musical play pays and gives the size. The orchestral music composed exclusively for “The Prisoner of Azkaban” and fix the environmental surroundings musically, is not bad, although not think you are going to hum the music in your free moments.
People who played the prequel to this game, “the Chamber of Secrets” (Eurocom), no glimpse a big change in terms of playability. The work will be things like going to class to learn new spells or anything that we ask a colleague (as Neville rescued from the clutches of a nasty monster), and of course play the part of the argument.
The general difficulty of the game remains facililla. The skilled player will have no difficulty in passing the young wizard’s adventures without much disheveled, but there are flashes of intelligence in a puzzle (many people have got bogged down in the challenge that we have to save Neville Longbottomb.
The most important thing that has been added to playable, and it is clear that is the icing on this game is the ability to deal with Harry and his two friends, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley red. In fact we can play anytime with the character that we like to push the round button. For this game the developers have designed a series of mini games and puzzles that can only be completed using the three characters. These minigames are quite interesting, although still somewhat facilites. We have set a puzzle that is very similar, if not to a clone-which can be seen in the Zelda saga. This is the game of mirrors (as in Wind Waker could see) … will have to play with light to open doors.
In some moments of the game can only control one character in the game.
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban has, in addition to ingredients already mentioned, a few luxury extras (including one exclusive to the PlayStation 2 version). Thus, for the first time in Potter games will see a trailer of the movie, play a few minigames and special designs to see production of the video game.

The game is short, really is short. Despite the multitude of events that can occur throughout the game, still see it as a game aimed at children, although there are details that suggest that gradually grow with the game characters. We sincerely hope that the following supplies most mature thing (should rather book after book because the plot is somewhat darker and more terrible. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is a good game that can not be very good for the reasons mentioned negative throughout the analysis. Although details have to be polished in subsequent deliveries, a long way to go, but the thing is very promising.
Potter we saw a more mature in appearance and in the same script of the game, but still remains an ideal game for the youngest in the house. One sentence in the sense that they could have squeezed more sauce argument increasingly adult book (Alfonso Cuarón has already done in this third film).
I recommend this game to fans of the book, which will surely enjoy it, novices and experts in the mood for something more decaf.
